The next
World Championships of Beach Ultimate begin in a few days! Expanding upon which
countries have won gold medals, here's a look at all the countries that have ever medaled at a WCBU event.
- A total of 42 medals have been won at WCBU (2004, 2007, 2011)
- 10 countries have medaled
- 5 countries have won gold
- 7 countries have won silver
- 9 countries have won bronze
- Only one USA team has missed medaling - in 2004, taking 4th place out of 14 mixed division teams
- USA + Germany teams account for nearly half of medals (20, 48%)
