After such an epasygoing game last season, you'd expect a nice TreeHug. Instead Tree Huggers stuck it to the won-the-pre-game-scrimmage-vs.-Absinthe-Minded Sludge.
EPA levied their fine, fine play on this brownfield to the amount of:
EPA = 15
Sludge = not so much
Yet another reason to hate on the administration.

Week 3: Viva Victory!
In timely fashion, Sludge's game @ Montgomery Hills served as a break-fast of the eLongated buffet of non-wins. Consider it a reminder Sludge's ingredients are still ripe!
Sludge pulled first on the dusty-grassy-holey field to start the 1st course. The nutritional benefit? A savory lead (first of the season). Steamed D with a side of scrambled O became a favorite menu item. Even a SnackPack regurgitation didn't phase the focused Sludgers.
The Daily Special working oh so well was Sludge extending the field, providing 1-2 medium cuts, always looking for our open womens, and then patiently waiting for a scoring. Sludge foie gras attempts into the endzone only resulted in a bad taste.
Prior to the 2nd course Sludge bloated to an 8-6 lead. After cleansing the palate, Sludge's gladly digested SnackPack's spoon-fed 2nd half turnovers into points. Forking awesome...15-9, a satiating feelgood win.
Aaahhh! Great relief getting an overdue W reminiscent of when a pesky hemorrhoid (finally) disappears. The key is you get through it without too much pain. Aaahhh!

On This Day in Sludge History...
Sludge's ability to recite the alphabet past

Order in the Food Aisle
Jen led the first meeting of the minds stomachs on Saturday. Jen proclaimed the SYbF Committee meeting's purpose:
In an attempt to consolidate meal ingredients, limit leftovers, save yen, and prevent the horrid first Food Lion run at OBX this year, I'll be gathering ideas at the first (and perhaps last) 'Saving Yen by Foraging' committee meeting after this weekend's game. Please stick around for a few minutes if you have experience foraging or have ideas for helping the calories go down more smoothly at OBX.
Ideas so far:
- Pre-OBX Costco purchases of cereal, beer, toilet paper
- Assigning people to meals and requiring them to forage on their own time and with their own yen
- Bringing flour, yellow food dye, and spices necessary for baking and cooking
- Finally reimbursing Rob for his pizza dough (Rob is a maybe this year. This may get him to join us, thus saving us all some money on rent)
And just cuz you aren't attending OBX this year, doesn't mean you can't share your ideas!

Week 1: Ready, Set,...Ready?
Charlie sums it up:
Sludge hasn't won a game in quite some time (regular season of spring 2007???) and this streak still holds.
Chomp had some young, tall, high-and low jumping male humans and got a number of good grabs and a few lucky tips to jump out to leads of 3-0, 4-1 and 8-3.
Second half was better but too short. After the score fell to 9-3, Sludge rallied to regain some dignity, reaching 10-6, 12-8 and ended 12-10 with an instantaneous time cap ending as we got closer.
Cool: Gayle & Amy had to play savage and we thank them for doing so.
So What: Sludge had 3 male subs.
Where in the World?
Continuing "Where in the World" which pays homage to the worldly mobility of Sludge.
Today's Feature: Michael.
Q: Where in the World is Michael?
A: Michael is in Asheville, NC.
