Premier Ultimate League 2019 Schedule

The Premier Ultimate League has been slowly releasing their schedule for their 2019 pilot season. Eight PUL teams will be competing in the regular season from April 20 through mid-June; PUL playoffs (PULayoffs) are tentatively scheduled for the last weekend in June.

Breakdown of AUDL Game of the Week 2018 Schedule

Fifteen out of the 23 American Ultimate Disc League teams will be featured on the AUDL 'Game of the Week' in the 2018 regular season.  There will be a total of 16 games - one game every week - during the regular season. AUDL East teams will be broadcast the most (10 times), followed by South teams (9 times), then Midwest (7) and West (6). Washington, D.C. Breeze and Raleigh Flyers will be broadcast 4 times each — including their Week 7 matchup.

18 More Days Until AUDL 2018 Begins

The 2018 season of American Ultimate Disc League begins in 18 days. This year featuring 23 teams in 4 divisions will be AUDL's 7th season of semi-pro ultimate.  The March 31 start date is the earliest the AUDL has begun in its 7 year history.

AUDL 2017 Championship Weekend (August 26-27)

Montréal is the site of the American Ultimate Disc League's Championship Weekend. The semifinal on Saturday begins with Madison Radicals (#1) versus San Francisco FlameThrowers (#4) at 4PM ET followed by Dallas Roughnecks (#3) versus Toronto Rush (#2) at 7PM ET. The AUDL final will be played on Sunday at 1PM ET.

AUDL 2017 Postseason Schedule

Twelve teams qualified for the American Ultimate Disc League playoffs. The South Division starts the postseason on Saturday, July 29; the winner will play Raleigh on August 5th. The Midwest playoff game is scheduled as a home game for Minnesota on August 4th - the first night of USAU's 2017 U.S. Open Club Championships; the winner will play Madison. The East playoff will be decided in one weekend with a Friday-Sunday schedule (August 11, 13). The West Division will  also be decided over one weekend with back-to-back playoff games on August 12 and then August 13. The West's #2 seed (LA Aviators) will travel to San Jose (#3 seed) with the winner playing at San Francisco.

Division champions will meet on August 26-27 at the AUDL Championship Weekend in Montreal to decide the AUDL 2017 champion.

AUDL 2017 Season to Start on April 1st

As predicted (see below), the 2017 American Ultimate Disc League season will begin on April 1, 2017. With the 2017 AUDL Championship scheduled for August 26-27, the 6th AUDL season will its longest season ever.

DC Pro Ultimate Schedule 2016

The pro ultimate seasons begin in April. Ultimate fans in the Washington, DC, area have 12 local regular season games on the schedules — 7 for DC Breeze (American Ultimate Disc League) + 5 for DC Current (Major League Ultimate), spanning 9 weekends.

The only overlapping game happens early in the season on Saturday, April 23rd. DC fans have two opportunities of a back-to-back MLU-then-AUDL games on the weekend of April 9-10 AND May 21-22.

Washington DC Current 2016 MLU Schedule

The fourth Major League Ultimate season for D.C. Current starts earlier on the calendar than any season before - on April 9th. In its 10-game regular season, DC plays 3 games versus Boston Whitecaps (2 away, 1 home), 3 games versus New York Rumble (1 away, 2 home) and 4 games versus Philadelphia Spinners (2 away, 2 home).

The Current have back-to-back games in weeks 4 and 10; DC is one of 3 MLU teams with more than 1 back-to-back games on their 2016 schedule. MLU's DC team has 3 bye weeks during the season.

The only overlapping game happens on May 16th when they both happen to be playing their respective league's New York team. DC fans have an opportunity of a back-to-back AUDL-then-MLU games on the weekend of April 18-19.

NOTE: The Breeze's postponed 6/27 game was rescheduled for Friday, July 10 @ 8:30p.

The pro Ultimate season begins in one month. Ultimate fans in Washington, DC - one of 6 cities with 2 teams - can start planning which local games to attend.

There are a total of 12 scheduled home games in DC; 7 for DC Breeze (American Ultimate Disc League) + 5 for DC Current (Major League Ultimate). Twice, the teams play on the same day - May 4 and June 14. Both teams play a Philadelphia team on 5/4, and a New York team on 6/14. DC fans have an opportunity of an AUDL-MLU doubleheader on the 4th of May, but have to choose between the teams on the 14th of June.

Sludge's 30th Season

Since the fall of 1998, Sludge has been playing in the Washington Area Frisbee Club. This 2013 spring league marks a milestone for the team - its 30th season!
