Today's (9/2/2016) New York Times Crossword Puzzle contains the following clue for 1-ACROSS: Ultimate necessity?
Answer is (obviously)...
Frisbee.
As explained by the NYT: "1A: Yes, see how the U in "Ultimate necessity?" is capitalized? That's a very sneaky trick to make you think that the necessity is most important. It's not. It refers to the game of Ultimate FRISBEE."
Or, "Frisbee Ultimate" if you're Wham-O.
