MLU Rookies in 2015 Season

Major League Ultimate reported a roster breakdown of their 2015 players. Each team indicated which players were "rookies" within their published roster. Out of 247 MLU players, 45% (112) are "rookies" (new MLU players) in MLU's 3rd season.

• Vancouver NightHawks signed the most "rookies" with 20; over 70% of their roster
• The roster for Portland Stags has the lowest rookie percentage (27% of their roster)
• Three teams in the MLU (and in the Western Conference) have "rookies" comprising more than half of their roster
• Portland is the only MLU team with single-digit rookies in quantity and percentage
• Vancouver's # of  rookie players > # of rookies on DC + Portland
• Boston (39) and Philadelphia (37) have the largest rosters in the MLU
• Just like in 2014, nearly half are playing in the MLU for the first time
