AUDL Player of the Week 2016

The American Ultimate Disc League recognizes one standout player each week with something they refer to as "Player of the Week."

Wk 2: Jimmy Mickle (DAL)
Wk 3: Simon Higgins (SF)
Wk 4: Beau Kittredge (DAL)
Wk 5: Sam Hart (SEA)
Wk 6: Dylan Tunnell (ATL)
Wk 7: Jeff Loskorn  (ATX)
Wk 8: Thorne (PGH)
Wk 9: Stanley Peterson (DAL)

Thru week 9....

• Dallas Roughnecks and San Francisco FlameThrowers are the only two AUDL teams with multiple Player Of The Week honors. And, they accomplished this feat after 4 weeks of the season!
• Dallas boasts 3 POTW: Mickle, Beau, Smitty
• Four players from Texas teams (Roughnecks, Sol) have earned POTW - both new teams as of 2016.
• No players from any of the 4 Canadian teams have earned POTW
• Six teams out of 26 AUDL teams have been represented in POTW
• Six of the 9 POTW players did not play for their current team in 2015 
• POTW was awarded 5 times to a player whose team played back-to-back games in that weekend. 
• After 9 weeks, the South Division has completely hogged POTW honors with the West Division in second place with 3. 
• The Midwest Division has 1 POTW while the East has none.

Week 10 of the AUDL was just completed, so an East Division player is due to be honored.
